Hwei Ming

First. To avoid confusion, I’m not Hwei Ming. I am just someone who needed to rant about her thoughts desperately and I’ll be doing it here instead of my own page because.. Yeah well, just because. :p So please. For a few minutes, hear me out lah, k?

Love. Haha, where do I even start? Do you remember the first person that you claim to have loved? Note that I have included the word “claim” because honestly. Think about it.. did you really REALLY love him/her? Or was it just a crush? Infatuation, maybe? Or even, lust? Who knows? Maybe Cupid’s arrows do come in different types and flavours.

And how fast does it take for one to be sure that it is true love? Is it possible for one to fall for another within months? Or does it take years till when one can finally regurgitate the other’s good-bad behaviours while at the same time live with it, then only can it be categorized as “real” love?

I.. fortunately (or not), have been through both. Falling fast and hard with some at one point, where else also learning the art of patience, time and endurance with the rest.

So did I really loved him? And him? What about him now? For the sake of comparison, all of it sure did hurt like bitch when it came to an end.

So yeah. Which one of it was true love, really?

Meh. True love. Pfft, you say. No such thing.

I don’t know.

There is a saying by Meg from the Disney’s adaptation of Hercules which goes “people do crazy things, when they are in love”. I couldn’t agree more. If, and only if, those crazy things are done when it is least expected. At a time where chances are 4 out of 5 of them would probably walk away and the last one is left standing right there. Beside you.

That, to me, is true love.
