Picture are worth a million words,
Somehow, I just can’t seem to pen it down for these pictures.

For now, it’ll just be pictures, for I’ve no inspiration to write.
Maybe one day, I’ll write again, for a beauty that takes my breath away.
2 days to exam,
All the best to the future jobless scientist.
Rock Around the Clock!!

Apparently, if you are grooving to the music that you listening to, something els is moving too.
This is your outer hair cell which has been patch clamped using a whole cell recording pipette at its basal end. Then, the music was played to stimulate it.
What is it in “english”,it is something that aid you in your auditory system.
Watch it groove towards the music by clicking on the picture or here.

Believe me, it’s stunningly amusing!
This is the sort of discovery that really reminded me of the young and naive me, wanting to be a scientist with great discovery.
Sadly, I must say, the route to actually get my Biomedical Sciences Degree, is starting to fade away.
Study harder than a doctor, some would say, pay is also lesser, great research comes with great sponsors, but with the credit crunch just at the door step, what sponsors?
But I must say, Jonathon Ashmore discovery is definitely one those who truly inspire people to the field of biological sciences. Who would have thought, outer hair cell could do that.
It is for once, I truly enjoy my studies, however, there is not much of it in my 1138 pages Principle of Neural Science Book.
Ugh.. back to auditory system..
God Help me, exam in 5 days.

Exam is coming, 23rd to be exact, till the end of the month.
There goes my social life out of the window, and so is Chinese New Year.
Anyway, this year, it’s gonna be different. For once, I’m taking care of myself, and facing the entire world before.
With a little bless from up above, parent, you, you, you and you..
I think, thing might just work out pretty well.
Anyway, I’m eating healthy!
See..

Salad for dinner, and red wine to wash if all off.
I even bought myself a dinning set.
A square plate, A square mini plate, An almost square bowl, Cutlery, Napkins, Glass and so fore, just remind myself to eat healthy.
Well, so far, I’ve not use any of them yet, I still choose to eat right out of the, “Kuali” that’s frying pan in Malay.

Well, I’m sure, there’ll be a day, when I’ll use it.
As for now, due to convenient sake, a frying pan would just do.
To top it all,
I think, my taste bud is starting to change,
Extra Virgin Olive Oil is orgasimc.
I think I use it particularly in everything I cook.
Oh and, I know it’s late, but Happy Birthday Yatz and Wen Chean.
Cool Off!

So, it has almost been 4 month since I left Malaysia.
And in that 4 months, I’ve been using the same shampoo that I’ve brought all the way from Malaysia, and there is no surprise neither that I finally ran out off shampoo..
What I did today was, I went to The SuperDrug Store, and got myself “head&shoulders-cool menthol” shampoo.

And all Hail the experience..
After much stressful revision which I am not going to be able to finish in time, I decided to take a stress reliving bath…and, also a reason to try out the new shampoo that I’ve bought.
So, after getting up from my chair and….
*To keep your parents happy, and mine too, we’ll have to skip this part k..
*
I took a big squeeze of the shampoo, and applied it to my hair.
I, following the instruction stated,
“Gently massage into your scalp and work through to the tips of your hair”
So I did, and oh lord,
I felt a sudden rush of rejuvination. Its like, putting vicks into your mucus filled nostrils.
Never before have I ever thought of washing my head with Colgate or Darly.
Can you imagine, those refreshing feeling you get in your mouth after brushing, on your head?
I doubt you can, so why not now, get your keys, bas pass, wallet whatever, and go to your local store, and grab a head&shoulder-cool menthol and try it out yourself.
I’m not too sure whether that this product is available globally, so let me give you alternative if you are desperate to give it a try.
Get your toothpaste
Anyway, I must say to top the refereshing minty experience, I would recommend using LOREAL men expert Hydra Energetic foaming cleansing gel.

The name is mouthful, I know, but it really add up that refreshing affect. Something you get from studying over 250 pages, and dip your head into a icy cold bucket of water.
Anyway, I really like morning has just come, once more!
So after turning off the shower, and unveiling the shower curtains,
I just realize I’ve left my towel in my room.
-_-
*To keep your parents and mine happy, we’ll skip this part too*
And so, I made it out of the toilet and learn my leasson,
don’t study too hard till you desperately want to bath with your newly bought shampoo..
And now I am wondering, does all that mint gonna make my “tenders”, weak?
hehehe…

Study me, dying
by Hwei Ming on Jan.08, 2009, under Daily Rants

Someone wasn’t too keen on seeing Paris I guess..
Well,
I have to study, 2 more weeks, I can do it, I must do it, I’m in deep shit.
Well, I guess, this time it’s different.
Having to maintain myself and study at the same time, is one lot of an experience.
Oh my, thank god Gemini Take Away is just around the conner.
Hope Miss Gemini will cheer up to good.
Study.

Sunday Morning
by Hwei Ming on Jan.04, 2009, under Daily Rants

Wake up my dear… Its a Sunday Morning..
Its time to get up, breakfast is ready at the table, but if you want, I’ll bring them here…
Just for you..

No? Don’t want to eat? You can’t be like that..
I tell you want, I’ll let you know something, in return, you got to have breakfast alright..?
I made them just for you, and right after breakfast, we’ll go to the museum alright??
I’ll bring them here.. you can have it on the bed…
Right.
Now, ever wonder why I always insist that you sleep next to the window, the window facing the east?
Well, it’s because every morning when the sun starts to rise, and the curtains are all open,
you eclipses the sun with your presents, causing the rays to bend against you,
your hair causes rays to appear more beautiful then clouds and leafs itself.
creating an aura if tenderness in the air.
Your soft pale skins create calmness in the surround, making me just happy knowing that you are still here in the morning.
And that my dear, is why I always gaze at you in morning breathlessly.
What more could a man ask….
Well….
…Now, it’s time for breakfast.
The coffee is just the way you like it, and my special muffins.
We’ll leave for the museum when you are ready.

*kisses forehead*

by Hwei Ming on Jan.01, 2009, under Daily Rants
It’s the end of 2008 and well, the begining of 2009.
A new year, with new resolution.
New start, new begining, new almost everything.
I just hope this old person here can keep up with life.

A whole new year to get inspired, and think and think and think..

A whole new year to look at things differently, and think and think and think..

and a whole new year to never stop dreaming..
em.. sleep and sleep and sleep…
Its midnight…well, off to dreaming..
Happy 2009 people,
With all of the love in this world, just for you and you and you…
and you..
