by Hwei Ming on Oct.22, 2008, under Daily Rants
My funniest conversation of the day.
I was talking to Mae about what I should have for dinner
She first suggested for me to have salmon
I said there wasn’t any fish
She then suggested chicken
I said there wasn’t any chicken
and then cow
and I said there wasn’t any beef
She then suggested duck
and I said there wasnt any duck
Then ultimately, she suggested..
an elephant. -_-

Sweetly Buttery Simmer vegetables tops with Heinz Light Mayonnaise and Oregano.
Salmon Steak cook to perfection with a little hint of lemon topped with 2 kind of king prawn sauce.
King prawns cook with homemade garlic butter, parsley, oregano, chives, and basil in Olive’s Oil. And the other, king prawns simmering in tomato paste mixed with chives, with a zest of lemon.
Does it sounds yummy my dear?

You know what I call it?
The Salmae! >.<
High quality sal”mae” served with prawns in to”mae”to and garlic butter and vegetables top with “mae”onise as a dressing.
Cook to “mae”fection, with a secret mixture method and thoughts.
She just look, oh…so…pretty..

Its elegant, style, performance, functionality, power, simplicity, stylish and almost everything combined together.

At the end of the day, it wasn’t about me, it was about how expensive it was, it was just, how did Sal”mae” turn out to be….

And thats… PERFECTION!!
Now, eat up and enjoy.. I’ve gotta cook up something next!!

To Cook (for) A Friend
by Hwei Ming on Sep.08, 2008, under Rest of the Junk
I was really hungry, and at the same time, feeling naughty, so yea, I came up with way to well, at least, share my food that I’m going to cook with a friend over the internet.
This friend of mine, was also hungry at the same time, but she ended up with Twisties.
So, this is for you, Mae… haha..

Okie, to start with… I shall name, the penne, “Mae”!!

Alrighty to start off, I prepared of bowl of “Mae”..
And because, the Mae I know smells good all the time and the “Mae” in the bowl doesn’t quite smells the same. I mixed “Mae” with Rose Marry to make it smells just as good.

I later pampered “Mae” with a hot bath in boiling water… T_T hehehe…

Ironic, I know, but, “Mae” came out, prefecto!!
I prepared to sauce for “Mae” just the way I think Mae would like it.
Less Herds, Less Garlic, Less Onion…
ADD ON the MEAT!!! In this case, I used Lap Cheong because I don’t have any Wagyu Beef.

It was almost done, just that, it lacks personality compared to the Mae I know.
and that is why, I sprinkle some oregano and black pepper to spice thing up to par with Mae.
And there you have it, a good way to treat “Mae” just the way Mae likes it.
p/s.. Mae is still 101% better k..
No food in this world can consume a man like Mae can.. Haha…
Makan Time…actually…finish before I actually post this up!! haha…
